Classes on the patio
When weather permits, we move class to the back patio, rolling whiteboard and all. With multiple seating areas and plenty of room to move, being outside allows us to play games, break into small groups, and engage in activities that feel especially fun and energizing in the spring and summer months.

Adventures Abroad
Learning doesn’t stop at the classroom door. Through Casa del Sol, we also come together for immersive adventures abroad, where language, culture, and connection come to life in the most meaningful way.
Traveling together gives students the opportunity to use Spanish in real-world settings, build confidence through everyday interactions, and experience the culture in a way that can’t be replicated at home. These trips are about more than language — they’re about shared experiences, curiosity, laughter, and deep connection with place and people.
Whether it’s navigating new neighborhoods or the Mexico City metro, sharing meals, learning from local guides, or simply being immersed in Spanish day after day, our adventures abroad are a powerful extension of the community we build in class. They’re unforgettable, transformative, and often a highlight of the Casa del Sol experience.
